What are cookies?

Our website uses so-called cookies. Cookies are small harmless text files that are stored on your terminal device by your browser. Among other things, they serve to make our site more secure. The use of cookies makes it possible to use special features.

Which data do we save?

When you call up our website, the server behind it creates so-called log files. In these log files are:

  • a time stamp
  • the URL of the request
  • the status (i.e. whether the request was successful)
  • the referrer (the URL of the website from which you linked to the current website)
  • the User Agent (the program you used to access the website)
  • any errors that may have occurred (e.g. an incorrect URL or a software error)

In addition, errors are temporarily stored in our database together with your IP address.

What about the contact form?

When you use our website, only the data specified above is generally stored. If you write to us via one of our contact forms, the data provided will be saved (e.g. name, e-mail address, message). We use this data to be able to reply to your request or to send you important information if you register for one of our team events.

Why do we save these data?

All the above data is stored to ensure the operation of our website, to find errors and to continuously improve the website. We do not automatically evaluate the data or create profiles to collect information about you.

The above-mentioned data is deleted at regular intervals.

Is data passed on to third parties?

The information stored by the server or entered by you will not be disclosed to third parties without your permission, unless we are obliged to do so by law or court order.

Note on SSL encryption

For technical reasons we are unfortunately unable to use encryption (e.g. SSL) at present. When you use our website, the data you enter will be transmitted between the web server and your end device without encryption. We are working on this problem.
